The first MIDAS Agenda Setting Workshop took place on 7th of February 2014. It brought together about 30 practitioners concerned with methods, the body, and technology from the arts and social sciences, including fashion, information experience design, performance and interaction studies, psychology, and education. Participants were asked to introduce themselves stating their name and three key words. These key words provided a quick way to map some of the connections across the group – for example, it immediately pointed to the degree of difference and similarity within and across teams. It was also useful to orientate the discussions, serving as a kind of reference key for the event. We used these key words to produce a tag cloud of participants that gives a sense of the methods, experiences, and points of connection within the group.
